It means deriving pleasure from someone else’s misfortune.

In this case, it’s the knowledge that someone’s messed up, and that someone is a Big Name in the #Salesforce partner space.

This is where Schadenfreude turns to Horror.

I am probably best friends with the doctors at the local burn unit 🔥🧯👩🏻‍🚒

Unless a proper Discovery is done to find out what’s happened, turn over all the stones, dig up all the graves 🦴 and rip out the carpet, we’ll never know what we letting ourselves in for.

Sadly it’s all too common to find #SalesforcePartners who, in their eagerness to come to the ‘rescue’, neglect to run a proper Discovery.

“Why should we pay ANOTHER partner to do ANOTHER Discovery? We’ve just spent ££££ that’s just gone up in smoke.”

You wouldn’t go into battle if you didn’t know what the current situation is like, and that’s why you shouldn’t ever enter an engagement without proper Discovery. ⚔

It’s like getting married to someone who’s 5 ex’s are missing or presumed dead. 😨
