🍩 Product Analyst vs Product Owner vs Business Analyst vs Product Manager – the distinctions, the overlaps, and why most orgs just squish it all into one poor soul anyway 😅 (Thank you Anh Phuong Ta for this!)
🍩 Job titles are a LIE (sometimes) – and why you should absolutely be empowered to ask in an interview: “what does this role actually mean here?”
🍩 Apply for EVERYTHING – don’t self-select out before they’ve even had a chance to meet you – Thank you Pat Harris 😍 (Love your no-nonsense voice of reason!!)
🍩 Thinking about your CoE in terms of functions, not just roles – who’s managing the competing agendas? Who’s got the architect mindset? Who’s herding the cats?
🍩 The power of stakeholder analysis – especially when things aren’t working. Understand the motivations, and you’ll understand the mess.
🍩 And a golden rule: never tell someone they’re doing it wrong. Identify the gaps. Ask the questions. Let them arrive at the answers. 🙌🏻
