The comfort zone is a safe place to be.
It could be
– your home 🏠
– your family 👨👩👧👦🐕🐈⬛🦈
– your way of being 🤪
… anything.
It’s where you’re in control, you’re safe and you’re comfortable
Being asked to step out of your comfort zone is understandably terrifying. 😱
But it’s where the magic happens.
It’s where you grow, you learn, and you expand beyond the perceived limits of your awesome.
It’s also where magic happens.
The serendipity and wondrous happenstance of luck.
🍩Going on a roadtrip with Vanessa Grant where we didn’t have any fixed plans or place to sleep 😱 (and finding magic along the way)
🍩Saying “yes” to Alex Warneke to add an unscheduled camp stop to my travel plans (lakeside campfire and s’mores added so much magic to the deep conversations with new friends 🥰)
🍩Raising my rates to what I felt I was worth (and getting it!!)
The last one was probably the scariest thing I’ve done recently.
We need cheerleaders in our lives, which means if no one will do it for us – we should do it for ourselves.
Sooo…
How can I be more successful?
How can I support myself in my journey to be the best, most outstanding version of me?
“Well,” I say to myself, ” Step this way and walk the Scary Road of the Uncomfortable and Unknowable but Adequately-Risk-Profiled-Non-Fatal-Or-With-Any-Significant-Possibility-Of-Bodily-Injury Path.” 😬
It’s scary, but necessary for forward motion in life.
What’s the biggest thing you’ve done that scared you?
But which was the best thing that could have happened??
Mine’s actually travelling 6500 miles to find my life partner.
My ÜberHub is probably the best uncomfortable decision I ever made.🥰
