The #Salesforce Discovery Dream Team.
There are a few key roles that are necessary to run a proper Discovery.
Broadly, the role categories need to include:
– 𝗙𝘂𝗻𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 expertise around asking the right questions to understand client requirements around the functional aspect of Salesforce
– 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 aspect around custom development such as DevOps and other non functional requirements including security, performance, data residency etc
– 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 activities, e.g. managing tricky conversations about scope, budget and timelime
The size of the Discovery team will depend on size of the project, and range from a few days workshop with the solo consultant to a much bigger team whose Discovery phase may last a few months.
When you have a solid Discovery team, you’ll be able to plan and schedule the right workshops with the right people in order to do the job properly.
