They say that public speaking tops most people’s fear index. ๐ฑ
Add to the fact that you’re not a native English speaker.
AND it’s your first time!
On an international stage!
That’s a three-pointer scored by Portuguese Joana Martins and Brazilian Gabriela Levy from Raise N’GO – both making their speaking debut at Cairo Dreamin!! ๐
The things I loved about their presentation on “Do NGOs need a CRM?”
๐ฉ They played different personas – one who was pro CRM and the other pro Excel ๐ฆ๐
๐ฉ Their banter was fun, easy going and engaging
๐ฉ There was humour – “It sounds like you like excel like you like your “ex” – can’t let go of pain!” The audience was in stitches! ๐คฃ
๐ฉ The demo was recorded with split screen – one side Excel and the other NPC on
#Salesforce showing contrasting methods of adding donations
๐ฉThey made it very relatable by underlying key points with examples
๐ฉ Key information were listed on slides to hammer those points home
For the reasons above, this session was definitely one of the most noteworthy ones at
I loved that they’ve thought deeply about the message they wanted to convey and designed their talk to deliver it in a funny and engaging way.
Of course, they used to work with me before so I might be a tad biased ๐คญ
But I am really proud of these two amazing ladies.
Please give them both a follow ๐๐ป
I’m hoping they’ll do this again soon hopefully at the next PORTUGAL DREAMINโยฎ event on 27 June??
What do you think, readers?
