Wroclaw – what a beautiful, safe and welcoming city ❤️
Taking on a running route in a foreign city is always a fraught endeavour for a solo woman traveller – unless I have a running buddy (like Johann Furmann at #DF24!!)
I usually have to plan up front:
👟google “is it safe to run in xxxx”
👟use googlemap streetview to check out if area is sketchy
👟plan the route using MapMyRun to hit my target distance
👟send map to ÜberHub so he knows likely location of my body (if I fail to return) 😬
I also check out gyms in the area that allow drop-ins (thank you @cityfit.pl!! 4 day pass for £15 is a baaaaargain 😍) which will be my go-to if I can’t run.
Failing both options, I hope that my hotel is tall enough that I will just run up and down the stairs… assuming that I won’t get locked in the stairwell 😬
But this stunning city was amazing – what beautiful sights alongside the river, with architecture that survived (and revived) from the wars that ravaged it, and the gnomes!! ❤️❤️
Anyway – I absolutely had to do this scenic run because… apart from the views… there was a very specific reason why (you’ll have to watch till the end of the video!) 😆
Hint: Blame it on Sofigate and coffee&force – Salesforce portal / foundation!! 🤤🍦
Łukasz and Paulina – you’ve done an amazing job with
#PolishDreamin26 Hope you’re both taking a well earned rest!!🥰

One more thing: how amazing it is to be able to do fitness things with friends around the world when at conference:
🏋🏻♀️being introduced to crossfit by Joey Chan
🧘🏻♀️doing yoga with Katie Villanueva
🧎🏻♀️➡️doing lunges and kicks in a random car park in SF with Johann Furmann
I am so lucky to have such awesome friends 🫶🏻
