How data flows to and from each system
Why it matters: These integration requirements are what get MISSED in early stages and add complexity at the end – derailing timelines.
Getting clarity on system integrations and data flows BEFORE you get into field mappings can dramatically clarify project scope.
It’s a relatively simple diagram that defines boundaries and interactions—but it catches the requirements that would otherwise surface too late.
