How many people risk assess situations before they venture into something new?
It’s something that #ProjectManagement teaches, so for many of us PMs, this comes as second nature.
Doing it right means that you can (to the best of your abilities) plan actions for if things go south.
Of course, there are “unknown unknowns”.
Things you don’t know you don’t know.
How many businesses had action plan for the pandemic?
Short of having Dr Strange and the Time Stone, you cannot plan for EVERYTHING.
But, thats a poor excuse for not planning and looking out for risks that are obvious, especially if your team tells you about potential issues in your project.
