Tip #5: Start your data migration workstream … yesterday!

I love talking data, specifically data migration – and that was the topic of today’s Discovery workshop that Alexander Lapa is leading for our client.
When implementing a new system, it pays to pay attention to the quality of your data, which is critcal in helping with user adoption, because TRUST is the foundation of everything.
“This is not an easy task, going through years of inaccurate and poorly formatted data:
🍩 Deleting
🍩 Merging
🍩 Cleansing
🍩 Enriching
🍩 Categorising
🍩 Linking to the right parent
🍩 Creating and checking relationships to other data (associating)
… it isn’t fun for most people, and it will take time.
This is especially true when you have to consider the GDPR for European Data Subjects, and all the other Information/Data Privacy laws around the world.
It’s a HUGE job.”
