I always use Brené Brown‘s 5 C’s right at the beginning of a #Salesforce Project.
In fact, this is an actual a slide from my kick-off deck (without the doodlepeep and the chatty rainbow snail 😆)

Right at the start, I get the client to tell us what about the problem we are looking to solve. Give us the:

🍩 Colour – the big picture, including what success and victory look like 🌞🌈

🍩 Context – what’s happening in and around us that might impact our effort or outcome. ⚔

🍩 Connective tissue – what internal stuff that’s going on that might impact what we are doing 💪🏻

🍩 Cost – what’s the price of not doing this right – both tangible and intangible 💸

🍩 Consequences – extrapolate the options and identify what might the result be (desirable and not)

It doesn’t take long to do this, but so very important as it grounds us.
Always make sure you’re solving the right problem.
