“I know what I’m doing!!”

“I know what I’m doing!!”
Mmm maybe yes, maybe no.

Is there such a thing as an uncoachable person?

Can someone be coached or trained to care about work ethics, or emotional intelligence, or social skills?

I think the answer is a Yes.
But only if they have self-awareness.

That is the key 🗝️.

Without self-awareness, change cannot happen.

Well, not the kind of change that isn’t enforced through external means such as sticks🏏, carrots🥕 or blackmail 😬.

As #salesforce consultants, we are agents of change.
We are frequently in the midst of implementing a system that will change the ways of working for our clients and their users.

There are many reasons why people might be resistant to change.

A good example is one where they don’t see the need for change.
They might feel that status quo is A-OK. 👌🏻

Usually this outlook is one that is rooted in fear, but it takes empathetic conversations to unravel it.

And it takes patience.

At the same time, if there is no self-awareness present, it can become an almost impossible task to find out the root cause and to initiate change.

Do you believe there’s such a thing as an uncoachable mind?

I believe that the answer is a Yes.
Unless you want me to give up donuts 🍩 because it’s got nothing but carbs and sugar.
😒😆

What do you think?
