I’m a workaholic

I’m a workaholic. 🤓
Everything fascinates me.

I’m always
reading
researching
writing
thinking
creating
connecting

I love creating and running workshops about topics that I’m passionate about.
– Leadership
– Project Delivery
– Project Management
– Technical delivery around data integration and data migration
– Testing and QA

etc etc etc

So when the new #Salesforce BA Exam launched, I didn’t think twice before committed to run 23 workshops almost back to back for 5 weeks, delving deep into each topic that would be tested.

This meant I was researching, creating new content and running them all, including the follow up.

I found it tough.
I think my little ninjas suffered too, as I hadn’t been very “present” 😕

And then when they were done, there were some more last minute work on my decks for Pakistan Dreamin’
(cough! I almost forgot! 😬)

I’ve found myself sitting down with my stylus, ready to doodle only to find that my brain have fogged up.

I can’t seem to summon any excitement for things that usually perk me up.

Like work 😁
And donuts. 🍩

This is what burnout looks and feels like.

So I’m just going to take a little break, and spend the last few weeks of the summer holidays with the ninjas, and try not to feel too guilty about it.

Have you suffered from burnout before?
What did you do to cope?
