Knock knock.

Knock knock.
Who’s there?
Kew Way.
Kew Way who?
QA here. Your doorbell’s broken.

*cringe* 😳😁

Ok, that’s why I’m not a comedy writer, but I do love jokes.
And I love QA.

Testing is always seen as the ‘second class citizen’ in a #Salesforce project, or any other software project.

“QA. Friend or Foe?”

My TA friend love to pose this during technical developer interviews, because it tells him about the attitude and mindset of the candidate.

If someone truly cares more for the quality of his work than his ego, then he will welcome the help of Quality Assurance, because it will make him better.

Good QA makes us all look good.

In order to ensure quality delivery, testing needs to be given as much focus as the design and build of a system.

It needs to be part of the overall strategy, and core principles must be embedded into every part of the delivery process.

Those who do not approach software implementation with QA in mind will almost surely have challenges trying to slap a quality layer on after the fact. 😐

And it works as well as a chocolate band aid.
(Don’t you just love my mangled analogies and cracking jokes 🤭).

Bottom line.
If you want to produce good stuff, make sure QA is involved from the beginning.

Otherwise I will be forced to come up with more bad jokes. 😁
And nobody really wants to see that! 😆
