More data sessions you can’t miss at #Dreamforce! 💾
(See yesterday’s video for the first three reasons to attend Mehmet Gökmen Orun‘s sessions!)
Here are two more sessions I’d have marked in my calendar if I were there:
🍩 Tuesday Oct 14, 2:30pm – Moscone West, Room 2000 “Zero Copy 101: Building Open Data Ecosystems with Data Cloud” Gina Nichols (Director of Product Management, Salesforce) and Vijay Gopalakrishnan (Director, Salesforce)
If you’ve ever dealt with data sync issues, redundancies, or that horrible moment when you realize multiple systems have different versions of the truth… this is YOUR session. 😱
🍩 Wednesday Oct 15, 11:30am OR Thursday Oct 16, 1:30pm – Moscone West, Level 1 Forest Admin Theater “10 Key Tips for Successful Data Cloud Implementation” Melissa Shepard (CTO & Managing Architect at Maple Digital) and Arvind Raman (Director of Partner Enablement, Salesforce)
She and Arvind have seen countless implementations go sideways, and they’re sharing practical, boots-on-the-ground advice to help you avoid those pitfalls. 💪🏻
The thing about going to events like #DF is that you can attend all these sessions, take amazing notes, and STILL hit a wall when you’re back at your desk implementing Data Cloud for an actual client with their really weird edge case. 😬
If you’re at a large consulting partner with a huge network to lean on – great! But what if you’re:
🍩The go-getter who’s the only one
🍩The most senior person (nowhere to escalate!)
🍩A solo contractor
🍩Working at an end client without a support network
Where do you go with those specific, nuanced questions?
That’s where #ZenClub comes in.
It’s not about content – it’s about creating a community of consultants and delivery experts who understand the nuance.
Where people can say, “Oh yeah, I dealt with that exact scenario last month.
Here’s what I learned and the things to avoid.” 🌱
Piyusha Pilania and I created this space because we KNOW what it’s like to be stuck with a problem that isn’t in any trailhead module.
We meet every Friday 2:00-3:30pm UK time (yes, our San Francisco friends have to wake up a bit earlier, but it means we can reach India and Philippines too! 🌏)
If you’re at Dreamforce, find Piyusha – she’s wearing her Dreamforce Breakdown t-shirt. Ask her about our Dreamforce-only membership offer that won’t be available after the event!
(By the way, if you’re wearing the same shirt – please take a selfie with
#DFPSquared – tag her and myself, and you could win one of my books! 🥰)
We’re an amazing bunch, and I’d love to see you there. ❤️
What’s your biggest Data Cloud challenge right now?
