My dad Lim Khoy Hing being called to the Bar yesterday at age 75.
After a life in aviation with the Royal Malaysian Air Force and commercial airlines like MAS and Air Asia X, he continued to be a flight simulator instructor for a further 10 years before covid took that last March.
Having done his law degree 29 years ago from University of London, he has since spent the time last year completing the process and was rewarded for his hard work yesterday with his call to the Bar.
Mum has been so incredibly supportive all these years and without her dedication looking after family and home, I don’t think he’d have been able to focus and achieved so much.
She took the video of him before the presentation yesterday. Apparently he had been practicing trying to robe himself about 10 times 🤭
I am so fortunate to have such amazing parents. ❤️
