This be my newly acquired habit 😁

I decided that this year I would ramp up my fitness and focus on the infinite game: generally getting stronger. 💪🏻

This is critical for me as someone with hypermobility where age could increase degeneration of my joints as time goes by, so I’ve taken this sport up (thank you Joey Chan for introducing me to this earlier this year! 😊

The focus is getting stronger in an intentional manner to avoid injury, which is why there is no real ‘target’.

I can already deadlift the weight of ÜberHub so I can now h̶̶a̶u̶l̶ h̶̶i̶s̶ l̶̶i̶f̶e̶l̶e̶s̶s̶ b̶̶o̶d̶y̶ t̶̶o̶ a̶̶ s̶̶h̶a̶l̶l̶o̶w̶ d̶̶i̶t̶c̶h̶ carry him out of a burning building 🤭🔥🏠

It was a bit daunting when I first started on 1 April (April Fool’s day!) but I booked a platinum membership at a crossfit centre within walking distance, bought myself multiple changes of gym kit and made sure I go every day (unless work schedule does not permit).

Since then, I have already clocks 71 sessions, or approximately 5-6 times a week.

My mantras:

#ConsistencyOverIntensity

#ShowUpAndDoTheWork

What habits have you intentionally built recently?

What’s been your process?

I’d love to know. 😊
