What do you get giddy for?
I’ve not used the word ‘giddy’ in a long time, but was re-introduced to this very visual word when I had my conversation with Caroline Häming, a Technical/Business/Solution Architect (sometimes Project Manager) who has been in the Salesforce world for a very long time.
I had so much fun talking to her about women in tech, and the importance of loving what you do.
So.
My poor ninjas are suffering from hay fever and the heat, and the boys – who have been trekking to school and back on public transport, have been suffering particularly badly.
This morning I decided to take them in, which they gratefully accepted.
These moments in the car, when we can talk about stuff – about life or computer games, anything at all.
These moments are what I live for.
When we aren’t in a rush to get things done
When we are just chilling.
When we can just connect.
Life gets in the way of living, so I try to slow down and enjoy the ‘in-between’ times.
