I tweaked my #DF23 and Kosovo Dreamin talk to be more age appropriate (though tweenie ninja was still mortified by the number of “poop” references in it 😆)
She wanted to vet my slides for bad words because she had been to my session at dreamOlé in Seville and saw I had an “S” word in it 😬
In any case, I thought it went well.
They were engaged with a lot of questions at the end.
I found it interesting when drawing my How-I-Spend-My-Time pie chart.
Reflecting on the fact that it’s been about 4 years since I started on my own, I am now just about to be at par in terms of my earning when I left full time employment.
And I do billable work less than half of the time.
Huh. It was an interesting reflection.
Definitely having more fun, and a much better life balance.
Now I get time to write, doodle, and give talks and cringe-fy my kiddiwinks with poopy jokes 😆 #Winning!
