Do you think we are selling too many projects?

“Do you think we are selling too many projects?”

“What’s your QBQ?”

“QBQ?”

“The Question Behind your Question.”

“Oh. Umm… I get the feeling that our leadership team is gearing for a sale, and I am worried about my job.”

Not everyone knows how to ask questions.

Sometimes they don’t really know what they would like to know.
Sometimes they don’t know how to get to the answer they want.

Often, it’s not because they are being disingenuous, or malicious, or purposely obtuse.

The ability to ask the right questions and understand the reply, and ask more follow-up questions to gain clarity is a fundamental skill a #Salesforce consultant needs to have.

Conversely, you also need to know when someone else is struggling to ask the right question, and know how to help them articulate what’s on their mind.

This two way skillset is the foundation of being an outstanding communicator.

Next Friday, I’m running the next session of my no charge #PeiItForward micro workshops on the basics of Questioning Strategies, something everyone really needs to know – whether you’re a consultant or not.

Sign up details below.

Are you courageous enough to always seek the QBQ in your interactions to get to the heart of the matter?

It’s not always easy, as that could lead to a difficult conversation.

But do you do it anyway?
I’d love to know. ❤️
