I sell ‘Confidence’ and ‘Control’.
That’s what I really sell.

I am Delivery.
I am not Marketing, or Sales.
Which was how I’ve always seen myself.

I’ve always exceled in delivering quality #Microsoft and #Salesforce projects as soon as the opportunities are “Closed – Won”.

However, I needed to shift my thinking when I started Zenhao in my quest to help others do what I do.

Yes, I designed the Consulting Discovery Masterclass to equip those of you who are entering into the consulting industry with the right skills around process workshops and eliciting requirements.

But what I’m actually selling is Confidence and Control in a role that can feel quite fast paced and turbulent.

For the Practice Managers and Head of Delivery at #SalesforcePartners, you are not only leveling up your team, but you’re buying assurance of Quality and the fact that you’ll hit your utilisation and revenue targets.

When I was delivering projects, I was selling ‘Peace of Mind’, ‘Reassurance’ and ‘Reliability’.

Having had the opportunity to re-read Seth Godin’s book after completing his seminar has made me reflect on the question:

What is it that I am selling?

That’s because whether we know it or not, we are always selling ourselves and it could be one or more of the following:

– class
– intellect
– belonging (by being ‘popular’ or ‘inclusive’
– safety
– romance
– friendship
– adventure
– respect
