What do you do with the things that are outside your circle of influence?
Do you beat your chest and roar about how unfair life is? 🦍
Do you shrink really small and hide under a rock? 🗻
Or do you shrug and find a way to integrate every part of you that make you uniquely you, and rock Life?
I really loved my interview with Tara Aldridge who was very candid about her struggles with dyslexia and dyspraxia that was only diagnosed when she was 21.
How difficult school life must have been!
I can only imagine that it may be something like being kidnapped and dropped into an alien school system and being asked to decode squiggly words and put them together in the ‘right’ order! Yikes!
Ok perhaps I’m being a bit dramatic. 😁
However, Tara’s story is a happy one, and the challenges she went through has made her the amazing woman she is today.
As a Senior Manager with Vonage, her leadership style is wrapped in kindness and empathy, creating deep loyalty among those who know her and work with her.
This is the way to create high performing teams.
When people have strong connections with each other, it is not inconceivable that they would go above and beyond for a common goal. ❤
She also ensures that her communication is clear, and utilises different methods so that the recipient can absorb it in the way that is best for them. 👂🏻👀📑💻
