What colour was 2021 for you?

What colour was 2021 for you?
If you were to colour code and score your days for the year (red – worst day, orange – bad day, yellow – neutral, blue – good day, green – outstanding day) what pattern would you see?

Jim Collins, author of “Good to Great” and socratic advisor to business leaders does this (article below).

Actually, he scores his days, -2, -1, 0, 1 and 2.
I thought colour coding may be easier for visual thinkers like myself.

I knocked up a quick google sheet, and thought I’d share it with anyone who’s interested (link 👇🏻)

However, I think that most of my days will probably be blues and greens, with ocassional yellow.

Anyway, this post is a short one because I just wanted to share. All you need to do is to copy the google sheet and at the end of every day, give it a score and colour.

At the end of the year, you can look back and see how it’s gone. If you journal, you could also look at patterns to see what generates great days for you, and do more of that.

Have fun!
