To be honest though, #RiskManagement is not a joking matter.
Let me make a bold assertion.
If the consulting project has been sold correctly, the success of that project is a team effort.
But it’s failure lies on the feet of the project manager.
The reason is that our job as #RealProjectManagers job is to properly identify risks and mitigate them.
We should not be of afraid of putting risks on the RAID log. In fact, I encourage my team to add their worries or concerns in and then we review them.
If I don’t know where the potential landmines are, how am I going to avoid them??
Anyway I had a great time in Prague talking about the 7 sins of #ProjectManagement (though everyone got a bonus sin at the end!)
