Who hates using IVRs and talking to Bots and AI? 🙋🏻♀️
Who feels relieved when an #ActualHuman answers your call? 🙋🏻♀️🙋🏻♀️
Who wants to reverse the trend of automating away the #HumanTouch?!? 🙋🏻♀️🙋🏻♀️🙋🏻♀️🙋🏻♀️🙋🏻♀️🙋🏻♀️🙋🏻♀️
And so I want to publically give a shout out to the lovely Indira Say from Bupa UK who epitomises all that is right about what it means to connect at a human level.
I absolutely LOATHE IVRs.
And chatbots.
And other call-deflecting-tools incuding BadlyImplementedAIAgentsWhoWasTrainedOnBadDocumentationAndBadData. 😠
I mean, I thought that living in the UK for the last three decades have toned down my Manglish accent and infused it with a bit more of the Queen’s English but they still seem to have trouble understanding me 🤬
I know that yelling mangles the acoustics but that’s what I do when ‘normal inside voice’ doesn’t work. 😖
I also know that this strategy does not work with teenagers. 😓
Aaaaaaanyway.
This is just a short appreciation post.
It didn’t take me too long to dash this out but I needed to highlight the importance of human connection and maybe in my small act of rebellion against the “AI Revolution”, we are reminding ourselves what’s important.
Kudos on a job well done Indira. ❤️
