If you don’t think its a people problem, it’s a people problem

“If you don’t think its a people problem, it’s a people problem.” – Barton Ledford, Senior Director Salesforce Practice Lead at B3 Group.

I totally agree.

Advances in technology means that the technological aspect is rarely the blocker in any system or project implementation.

It is almost always a people problem.

The right people, with the right skillset and experience, combined with the right chemistry in a high performing team – can be incredibly resourceful in tackling any challenge you can throw at them.

Having the wrong people on board, with dysfunctional mindset and behaviours can be the biggest hurdle to the long term success of any organisation.

Season 2, Episode 2 of my #OnThePeiroll podcast drops next Monday, where I talk to Barton about a wide variety of topics.

One of the key topics is about the #CentreOfExcellence for the Department of Veterans Affairs in the US (5th largest #Salesforce implementation globally).

He dives deep into the critical factors in setting it up successfully, and how a strong partnership can create long term value for any organisations looking to implement COI and leverage Salesforce to provide value for the business.

I love that quote: “It’s almost always a people problem.”
A truer word was never spoken. 😊
