❗❗#Salesforce#Ohana !! I need help!
(As I may have bitten off more than I can chew) 😬

𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗳 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄
I’m running a free 4-day bootcamp for asylum seekers in the UK next week to help onboard them into the professional working world within the Salesforce ecosystem.

This was borne from The Technical Collective (TCC) initiative started by Silvia Denaro to match new admins wanting to gain experience with charities supported by experienced experts volunteers (called Technical Coaches).

𝗔𝗶𝗺 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲
– help newbies gain experience
– ensure work is done properly
– provide governance and technical leadership

We kicked off with two pilot case studies a few months ago, and we are learning a lot on this journey.

We have someone from the Blue Road Academy (formerly RefugeeForce) on my project, and I’ve realised that we need to provide a more comprehensive foundation of support.

There are language and cultural challenges that I need to know and understand in order for me to run the training better.

Here’s the agenda for the 4 day training:

𝗠𝘆 𝗮𝘀𝗸 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Are there anyone in my network who has
– experience being an asylum seeker (or know of people who are)
– worked in the UK for awhile
– 2-3 hours free next Tuesday 25 July, from about 0900 BST for first session in 𝘽𝙪𝙞𝙡𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖 𝘽𝙧𝙞𝙙𝙜𝙚
– a good grasp of English and can help translate nuance to me
I need nuance to run an impactful training.

𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗮𝗺 𝗜 𝗱𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀?
Holiday cancelled because Ninja 1 broke his arm, so I am suddenly free next week. 😬
And because it needs to be done!

If you can help, please DM me! 🥰
