𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 (𝟮𝟰% – 𝟭𝟰 𝗤𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀)
Salesforce BA exam – second module.

We looked at what it means to Know your customer, and to try and Be your customer when doin a Customer Centric Discovery.

(cough) I think I might have chosen a slightly different phrase than “𝑬𝒎𝒑𝒂𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔𝒆 𝒍𝒊𝒌𝒆 𝒂 𝑷𝒓𝒐”
😬

We talked about how
– McDonalds isn’t really a fast food company, it makes its money from real estate (leasing to franchisees). 🍔🍦🍟🙅🏻‍♀️🙅🏻‍♀️🏘🏚

– Starbucks isn’t really a coffee company, as a huge percentage of its revenue comes from interest and additional purchases from the gift card business (over 1B cash in unspent gift cards 🤯) ☕🍵🙅🏻‍♀️🙅🏻‍♀️💲💲

When we assume, we are liable to make mistakes.

Sure, there are times when guessing, taking a punt, making assumptions and gambling can pay off.
More often than not though, we end up with
– at best, big egg in our face 🍳👀
– at worst, making a costly and catastrophic mistake.

That’s why we do our research, and we find out about our customer’s 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆, 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲.
