I have seen hundreds of diagrams – process maps, logical maps, system landscape, architecture design, technical catalogue, sequence diagrams etc etc etc.
While some of them can look real pretty, many miss the key point of them:
TO COMMUNICATE.
If your diagram creates confusion and raises questions about the clarity of your communication (instead of the content of your diagram) – your visual communication skills need improving.
