I used to have such strong convictions.
Anyone who disagreed were deluded, misinformed or just Plain Wrong.
I was Miss Right. 😌

My ego would not have allowed me to be anything else. 🙅🏻♀️
It wasn’t easy trying to forge a career in IT in Malaysia in the 90’s, in a traditionally male-dominated environment.
I worked incredibly hard and was one of the first female MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional) in Malaysia.. having since earned a lot more alphabets (MCSE, MCSE+I, MCDBA, MBA etc etc)… And I felt that I could only prove my worth by Being Right.
As Right as possible.
There were many hills I’d profess to die on.
Now?
Not so many.
I learned that I was wrong a lot of the times. 😕
I learned why it was important to be open minded.
There are SO many situations that do not have a right answer.
“It depends” as answer is an acceptable one, provided you can qualify the conditions of that statement.
Just recently I wondered if there were any convictions that I still held strongly, and I only came up with this one:

Now, this is one hill I’d be happy to have my corpse found on. 👍🏻😁
