Have you heard of Postsecret[dot]com?

“PostSecret is an ongoing community mail art project, created by Frank Warren in 2005, in which people mail their secrets anonymously on a homemade postcard. Selected secrets are then posted on the PostSecret blog.”

The secrets are incredibly poignant, moving and sad and they give only a small glimpse of the vast canvas of the human condition we call ‘Life’.

Deep painful secrets that cannot be shared because the secret-bearer hasn’t got anyone safe can sometimes lead to suicidal feelings and thoughts.

Tragically, this sometimes leads to a tragic outcome.

Projects like this provide an avenue for these precious feelings, thoughts and memories to breathe – without judgement.

If you are in a good place, be that safe person.
The one who listens quietly.
The one who’s… there.

If you have a secret that is hurting your soul, find someone you can talk to.
Or you can call Samaritans freephone from the UK on 116 123.
If you’re in the US, you can call 988 for the Suicide Crisis hotline.

You can share your secret with a stranger who has no agenda, other than to be there for you.

You don’t have to go through this alone. 🌹
