I love consulting

I love consulting, it’s been the best career for me.

Items 1, 2 and 3 have been expressed by my team in the past, and that tells me that we’ve done a good job. Especially if these are the only things they moan about. 😁

Item (1) is the usual – timesheets are a pain, but a necessary chore. Sometimes if you’re working with small to medium sized #Salesforce Partners, then this could get tedious.

Half an hour here, half an hour there, couple of hours meeting with client 1, another half hour call with client 2… yeah. A necessary chore 😣

Item (2) – when projects go swimmingly, stand-ups can be such a quick exercise.
A: “Today – am doing User Story 12, 24 and 25. No blockers.”
B: “Me – am doing 8, and 13 (after A finishes 12) and 35. No blockers.”

Whiiiiiiiiz. All done.

Item (3) – also a factor of a well run project 😁 great Show & Tells, excited customers, seamless deployment.
Yeah, we should go straight to prod.
Ok no, I was just joking… but yeah, we totally could have 😋
