I proofread as much as I can – especially Discovery and critical documents that require client sign-off and is a contractual deliverable.
I recognise that not all PMs do this – but I do believe it has to be done for the important documents, because the Project Manager is ultimately accountable and responsible.
Inaccuracy, mistakes, gaps, “wrongness” in the documents that a Consulting Partner delivers to the client is all the fault of the PM in charge.
If you’re on a project and you’re responsible for an important deliverable that you feel need the eyes of your PM, or someone senior.
So how do you request your PM to review your document?
With firm respect and diplomacy, that’s how.
If that PM is me, then just a small nudge and a 🍩 will do.
