Knowing WHAT to test

Knowing WHAT to test is as important as knowing HOW to test.

My talk with Richard Clark was absolutely fascinating, as we riff about QA, especially manual vs automated testing.

One of the biggest let down in projects is inadequate testing, which may stem from:
– not enough time set aside to test
– not enough good testers assigned to the project
– not enough time to plan the test scripts
– not briefing the UAT team on how to test

The HOW, and WHAT is supremely important.

When the budget is being squeezed, most clients chop out two utterly critical but so over-looked and under-rated items:
– Project Management time, and
– Testing time.
