London’s Calling was EPIC! 😍 for so many reasons!

I didn’t get to as many sessions as I wanted because I just got so distracted by fascinting conversations but this one stuck with me!
… A cozy session with the human faces of #Salesforce that turned into everyone in the room telling a joke.
Yes.
Mandatory participation. 😅

What I can tell you is that the bar was… varied. 😬
There were jokes about tech and non-tech topics, funny, cringe-worthy (my contribution was about my kids talking about manga… they were speaking manga-nese! Get it?! 😆 I crack myself up!!)
But underneath all the terrible jokes where some genuinely good stuff.
The Architect team shared their focus:
1️⃣ Rebuilding trust with the community. And from what I saw in that room, it’s working.
2️⃣ Content quality – practical content on the Salesforce Architects blog aimed at practitioners… and they’re accepting community contributions until the 19th of June. If you’ve got something worth saying, go find that form. 👀 3️⃣ Feedback Fridays – every Friday, they share what feedback they’ve received and what they’re actually doing about it.
Someone new to the ecosystem asked what they should do to make the most of the community. Here are the nuggets:
🍩 Show up to your local community group.
🍩 Share what you know, even if you’re new.
🍩 Crowdsource your learning. Somebody will have come across your problem.
And if no one answers… RAGEBAIT!!! 🎣
Put out something WRONG and someone, somewhere will come and correct you! That’s how you find your answer 😆
Anyway I found this quite fun.

Man those entertainment rooms are such a great idea!
I got in to see the beatboxing one towards the end (because so busy talking to people!!), and from seeing the pics of the other rooms like linedancing, I wish I did that too! AAAAHHH IF ONLY I COULD CLONE MYSELF! 🤪
