Nobody is perfectly perfect.
Except Mary Poppins ☂
And yet – we still try to chase ‘Perfection’.
I’ve been hearin this theme recently, as I’ve had quite a few calls with people who shared how they have let themselves down by performing poorly in interviews, or at work.
I believe that making mistakes is a crucial part of growing and learning and it’s what deepens the wisdom within us.
While I am tempted to try and undo some of my past mistakes If I ever discovered a time machine or encounter Mr Cumberbatch as Dr Strange (swoooon 😍) I’d probably have to regretfully say no.
My mistakes and all my experiences are what makes me, me.
And yet, and yet, and yet….
Having a real life [𝗖𝘁𝗿𝗹-𝗭] command would have been so useful.
Alas it remains a fantasy.
I’m sending lots of ❤ and hugs tho those who have had some painful stumbles recently (you know who you are).
I’m here to lend an 👂🏻 whenever you need to share.
I think that sometimes, that non-judgemental listening plays a more critical part in helping people get back up and move forward; perhaps a lot more than that magical [Ctrl-Z] wand.
And yet, think of the things I could do if I had that wand.
I could eat that pile of 🍩!!!
[𝗖𝘁𝗿𝗹-𝗭]
I could race around and accumulate speeding fines! 🏎
[𝗖𝘁𝗿𝗹-𝗭]
I could make that change directly on Production!!!!
[𝗖𝘁𝗿𝗹-𝗭]
Nooo.. I wouldn’t ever do that! 😁
What would you [𝗖𝘁𝗿𝗹-𝗭] if you had that magical wand?
