On Sunday night

On Sunday night, you get an email where you’ve been asked to

– Close your previous project and make sure it’s invoiced

– Make sure the client’s happy and they give you 5.0 on the CSAT (or don’t bother). But there are still some issues post go-live, and their original SoW didn’t specify support or maintenance and the client has your personal number that they use indiscriminately.

– Kick-off with your new client on Monday. It’s a big logo, so you don’t want to sc** this up. By the way, SoW is still being hammered, but “it’ll be fine”. Also, the TA who was tagged to support you on this project left yesterday. But “it’ll be fine.”

If you don’t get the sweats just reading this, you’re not human. 😰

What’s even scarier is that a lot of my readers will nod vigorously and wonder, “how did she know about that cluster of a project I did last year?!” 😱

I’ve been talking to a few junior #Salesforce consultants who are having frequent ‘sweats’ and panic attacks, and that hurts my heart so bad.

The reason is that all this can be avoided.

You CAN deliver great projects without flogging your people to death.

That’s why I built Zenhao Academy.

It’s aimed at consultants entering the field, AS WELL AS Salesforce Partners.
My aim is to help people build more sexy Salesforce projects which delivers true value for businesses.

Anita Smith was the very first member of the Academy, so I’ll let her tell you about her experience.

Membership registration is now open, and will end this Friday at 23:55 Hawaii timezone (deets in the comments below) 👇🏻

If you’re someone who wants to level up your human skills around Leadership, Emotional Intelligence and the business of being a great consultant, I hope you will check it out.

I’ve put in a lot of love and emotional labour to build something of value. I’ve built this for someone just like you.

See you on the inside?
