Discovery has a big ‘D’ because it’s usually the first one after the deal is signed. 😁
Detailed design can occur in its own little phase after big D, or within build iteration or sprints (depending on the methodology).
Big D, little d – who cares, as long as they get done. 😊
Functional consultants will want to focus on the actual functionality of the product to be implemented – Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Community Cloud etc etc.
But implementing a Salesforce solution is a lot bigger than that, which is why Discovery workshops need to encompass a whole range of topics.
