The nice thing about writing a book for the young me

The nice thing about writing a book for the young me of many moons ago is that I can re-imagine the things I would re-do to become an Even More Awesomer Version of me!! 😁

Like deciding on my values and my identity right at the start.

Of course that would change as I ‘grew up’ into my role and my skin, but I think I’d have got so much farther, quicker… if I had made a conscious exercise about the type of consultant I wanted to be, aided by the 4 Principles of Consulting Excellence (by the way – I developed this over 30 years of experience, so how could I have known this on day 1?) 🤔

Hmm – that would be the Temporal Paradox or Grandfather Paradox (as seen in The Umbrella Academy) ☂️

Never mind, it’s my book and I can do what I want 😁

Salesforce Consulting 101 is coming out soon! Register below to get updates on the release OR to become my beta reader!

If you’ve got my other two books: Salesforce Consulting 101 and/or Successful Salesforce Projects 101, you’ll be familiar with its storytelling format with key insights from my experience (and scars) in each chapter.

The 4 Principles of Consulting Excellence is a module in the Salesforce Consulting Fundamentals course – a packed 2.5 hours self-paced course covering onboarding yourself with a 5 day/30/60/90 day action plan, business and project communication skills, remote consulting and data security/privacy basics of handling client data.

I designed this course specifically for the new consultant so that you can set yourself up for a successful career, something I really wish excited when I first started out…

But hey, I am making up for it now! 😀
