What documents do the #Salesforce Business Analyst write?

What documents do the #Salesforce Business Analyst write?
“Anything their boss asks them to!” 😂

That was probably the best answer to the question we talked about in today’s Working Group session for the new #SalesforceBA Exam.

There’s a spectrum of roles and responsibilities for the Business Analyst.

From being an integral part of an #AwesomeAdmin solo role in a small company like an NFP or Charity right up to being one of hundreds in an Enterprise implementation team. ⚙

What you write, and how much you write depends on your role.

That includes whether you’re part of an in-house COE team or a #SalesforcePartner.

I have written a lot of these documents, and have proofread and reviewed hundreds. 😵

Everyone can ‘do’ communication.
But very few do it well.

Great communication is
– concise
– clear
– written for the right audience
– pitched at the correct level
– serves its intended purpose.

It’s 𝗻𝗼𝘁
– full of big words
– unnecessarily complicated
– vague and meandery

As a #SalesforceConsultant we need to do this well.

Our customers pay for quality, and as such – this bar is non-negotiable.

There’s still time to join us.

This Salesforce BA Exam Working Group will run every week day until 12 August as we delve into the Exam Outline.
