Why should I be kind when the world is a hateful place?
When I find myself asking the “Why” question, I try to dig deep for the answer.
Is Ms Ego asking the question?
Is she seeking accolades and acknowledgement, success and fame in the decisions she is seeking to make?
If so, I tell her thank you, but I need a different reason.
I love honing my craft and working on my personal growth.
It allows me to amplify the change and impact that I seek to make.
I write because I want to be a better writer, whether anyone reads it, gives it a like, or pats me on the back.
I am kind, even when no one else sees, because kindness matters.
And I am doing the no charge training because I want to make a difference.
