You put the tea bag in the bin??

“You put the tea bag in the bin?? IT GOES INTO THE COMPOST!”

“WHO LEFT THEIR CLOTHES ON THE FLOOR?! AGAIN?!”

Everyone in my household can tell when my project’s reaching its pointy end of UAT. 😁

… And I notice that despite my best efforts, I still let external situations dictate my grump level. 😳

However, I believe its OK to be grumpy as long as I am never unkind.
This is something I am very mindful of.

Many people tend to be very harsh and unkind when stressed or struggling.

I believe that it’s important for me to be aware when my internal grump-o-meter is heading towards the red, and take a pause.

Do I need coffee? ☕
Perhaps a donut 🍩
Or maybe just to get through UAT without another “this is a change, not a defect” conversation. 🤨

On the flip side, I try to be more empathetic towards those who are grumpy at me.

“Hey, you seem quite stressed. You’re not your usual smiley self. Is everything OK?”

“Hey, your usual dry wit seem to have a sharper edge this morning. What’s happening?”

“Do you need a donut?”

Be mindful of what’s going on.
With yourself and with others.
And #bekind.

Sometimes all that’s needed to de-grump someone is a donut. 🍩
Or 300.
🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩 X 30.

Also,I think donuts beat sex.
Especially during UAT!!
(Don’t tell ÜberHub!)
