Lying on CV and ‘knee pain’

What happens when you lie on your cv?

Sometimes you get away with it.
Sometimes you don’t

Rest assured though, it will probably come and bite you in the butt in some shape or form.

This is a metaphor for life.

Lying or exaggerating complicates life, because you have to remember the details of what you said.

What you may find out is that you may need to tell more lies to cover up, and that can very quickly become a big Web of deceit.

A consultant who lied during an interview.
A project manager whose CV was suspect.
A client who lied to his customers by creating fake data in the system.

While you may be able to blag your way through things in the short term, you’ll probably get found out sooner or later.

Just don’t.
It’s easier that way.

… as ninja#2 found out with the mystery “knee pain” that turned into real pain. 😉

I’m always transparent only because I’m too lazy to remember details of the lies that I tell.

Sometimes laziness is a good thing.
This is one of those times. 😁
