Tonight’s shift was longer than normal.
That’s because we stay with our callers for as long as it takes, and and I don’t think I needed my ‘fake coffee’ more than I did tonight.
ÜberHub knows when I have had a tough shift, and he knows I can’t talk about it.
So he just hugs me for awhile until I am ready to get to bed.
I know how lucky I am.
I have a warm safe bed I can get into when I am so tired.
I have people who love me and who will look out for me.
